You will always say to your mom, "Mom, I got back my test paper today." "How much did you get?" asked your mom. "I got bla-bla-bla marks." You may say it out proudly to your mom because you think that the mark is OK for you. The first question your mom will ask is, "What's the highest mark that others get?" And you'll be like, "Erm.. 90 or above." And you'll continue to say, "But someone got 30. My mark is considered good already, just in between." Your mom will ask why can't you get 90 when others can. "Because they are smart and I'm not." Then, your mom will ask you not to compare with people who got lower marks than you, but to compare with those who got higher marks than you. That's how you can set an aim and reach for it in the future. Your mom will never know that deep inside your heart, you feel extremely sad and depressed too for not getting a higher mark. Everyone wish to get a high mark in their assessment test, right? Who in the world will wish to get low mark? It hurts whenever your mom asks you for your result when you know that you didn't do well although you had tried your best. You spent hours and hours preparing for the exam and slept less to study for it. In the end, you are still not satisfied with your result. So, what's the point of studying?? You'll think that why is this world so unfair? Why do some people have BIG brain while you have just a small, tiny, little brain which can't absorb any useful information, especially for your studies. Your brain can only fit fashion and entertainment stuff in it. Only those useless stuff will remain in your long-term memory. All those useful stuff will just go into your short-term memory and they will find their way out of your brain just a few minutes after you insert them into your brain. WHY??

Yeah, sometimes they don't understand. As long as you know that you have tried your best, don't take into heart what they said. Then you won't feel as bad. Hope you are already feeling better now. ;)
