cars?

Was walking back to VH with Christy after PM's lecture. We saw this cute and small car in the car park. So cute that I wanna take a pic of it and post it my blog. It's quite short too! Not suitable for tall people like Christy but suits me! I just love small cars. They are just so cute and I feel more secure driving a smaller car. Perhaps less chance of being involved in accident? Touch wood! While taking this picture, we realized that there's another cute car beside it. Lol. A slightly bigger one. Looks like a Mini Cooper to me but I know nothing much about cars. >.< Dare not to say it IS a Mini Cooper unless someone can confirm that for me. These cars are small yet cool! Love them!

blessed

My dad just called few minutes ago. This was the first time he personally called me. Usually, my mom would call and chat a lot with me. My dad will talk to me for a few minutes after that if he has something to say. I was quite surprised to hear his voice today when I picked the phone up. It's been a long time since I used the word 爸爸. Suddenly miss home a lot. When he asked if everything is ok, I just said, "Ya. Everything's ok." The usual questions that he'll ask are about the weather, time, and studies. He then repeated the question if everything is ok. I think that I can deal with my own problems so yea, I said that everything's fine. Don't have to make them worried about me so much. I'm a big girl [almost 21] and I can handle my own problems [I think]. I told him that I'm having my tuition free week now and that I have some assignments to do as well as some tests to study for. He mentioned that he didn't call for quite some time. That's why he called today. Well, my parents don't usually call me every week. I'm used to it. They will usually chat with me via MSN which I think is more convenient and cheaper because they don't have to spend money on the IDD card for the international call. So, basically it was a short conversation between me and my dad but I can feel the love from him. It's been quite some time since the last time I feel some love from people around me. He makes me feel so loved. I feel so blessed.

last moment of 20.08.2008

Ops! I really went ZzZzZz for a few seconds during VC's lecture. Sorry about that. *paiseh* I'm just a normal human being who need some rest once in a while. In addition, the lecture hall was kinda dark which made it a better place to doze off easily. Ok, I know. I'm blaming the lecture hall now but yea, that's the fact.

Got to know some shocking news today.
1. Armed robbery cases have been elevating around my area. This is scary. We were advised not to walk alone.
2. Jesu is leaving tomorrow.
3. Random cleaning inspection starting this week. Why? Because some units are just not cleaned enough and they even stated there we have to maintain the cleanliness of our unit at all time. This means that our unit must be clean 24/7. So, the cleaners are going to come to our unit one day unexpectedly for inspection. ARgh! I had to vacuum the lounge this week, So, I did and I realised something. Something disgusting but might be quite commonly found in girls' unit.

Can you see what's that? If not, too bad.

Overall, my 20082008 is just a normal day. Nothing special although it's a special day. Spent hours watching Neighbours, Friends, and So You Think You Can Dance. Time for some rest. May I have a sweet dream tonight. Bye, 20082008.

-The End-

20082008

Just happened to come across these numbers few days ago. 20.08.2008 is a another special day. Once in a lifetime again. What should I say about today? I totally have no idea. Just feel like jotting something down on this special date.

Well, I was so sleepy and tired when it was only 1030pm. Was planning to sleep early but it's 1205am now and I'm still awake, chatting with my friends. Trying to solve some problems that she's facing. My friend sent me a song the other day. 唐禹哲 - 分开以后. She said that she cried after listening to the song. Yea, I did too. Sad lyrics. In this kinda situation. Don't blame me for shedding some tears. >.<

Sad enough? I don't blame anyone if they think that I'm too fragile or whatsoever because I am. Call me an emotional girl. Whatever! Who cares what people say about you when they know nothing about you? My business is none of yours. Ok. I don't know what the heck I'm talking about now. Better sleep early. Have to attend VC's tutorial and lecture tomorrow. Hope that he can make his lecture more interesting than the other lecturers. If not, I'll go ZzZzZz.......

proud to be Malaysian

Although Lee Chong Wei didn't win the gold medal, I'm still proud of him. He made it into the final in Olympics!!! We, as Malaysians, should be proud of that. He won a silver medal for badminton!!! We, as Malaysians, ought to be proud of him once again!!! I can't believe that I was actually watching the final match between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan. This is really my first time watching a badminton match. Perhaps it's because Malaysia made it into the final? I wasn't a fan of any sports at all but now, I started to watch basketball and badminton match. I've always told Wee to call me out if there's any basketball match in Miri. There's nothing to do at home beside watching television all day long. Might as well go out and enjoy the game. I found that sports can be interesting too. Not as boring as I thought. I didn't understand why guys love football so much. Watching so many people in the field fighting for the ball. I thought that was really ridiculous. I don't understand why my brother will shout non-stop when a team scored a goal. Well, guess I can understand a bit now. It's just so exciting. I'm beginning to love sports. Bit by bit. =)

Many people say that Lin Dan is handsome. Yea, I agree but his attitude is not that good. He's kinda too proud of himself. Hmm... I personally don't like his attitude. Heard that he's bad-tempered too. Well, this was the first time I watched a match of his. Can't judge him solely from this game. Might be a little bias since he's fighting against Malaysia, my country. Well, it's undeniable that he's a good player. So, congratulation. Anyway, I'm still proud of Lee Chong Wei. =)
