proud to be Malaysian

Although Lee Chong Wei didn't win the gold medal, I'm still proud of him. He made it into the final in Olympics!!! We, as Malaysians, should be proud of that. He won a silver medal for badminton!!! We, as Malaysians, ought to be proud of him once again!!! I can't believe that I was actually watching the final match between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan. This is really my first time watching a badminton match. Perhaps it's because Malaysia made it into the final? I wasn't a fan of any sports at all but now, I started to watch basketball and badminton match. I've always told Wee to call me out if there's any basketball match in Miri. There's nothing to do at home beside watching television all day long. Might as well go out and enjoy the game. I found that sports can be interesting too. Not as boring as I thought. I didn't understand why guys love football so much. Watching so many people in the field fighting for the ball. I thought that was really ridiculous. I don't understand why my brother will shout non-stop when a team scored a goal. Well, guess I can understand a bit now. It's just so exciting. I'm beginning to love sports. Bit by bit. =)

Many people say that Lin Dan is handsome. Yea, I agree but his attitude is not that good. He's kinda too proud of himself. Hmm... I personally don't like his attitude. Heard that he's bad-tempered too. Well, this was the first time I watched a match of his. Can't judge him solely from this game. Might be a little bias since he's fighting against Malaysia, my country. Well, it's undeniable that he's a good player. So, congratulation. Anyway, I'm still proud of Lee Chong Wei. =)

It' Wednesday. It's 13.08.08. Not 08.08.08 anymore. I forgot to post a blog on that memorable day. 08.08.08 is such a special day. Only exist once in a lfetime. I spent that night watching the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008 at home. I was really amazed by the opening ceremony. I love the fireworks. Those who know me well will know that I'm a person who loves fireworks a lot. Haha. I was like "WOW~~~WOW~~~WOW~~~" during the display of the fireworks. Gosh~ They are just so lovely. My housemate even said that if someone were to propose to me with all those fireworks around, I'll definitely say yes. >< Talking about 13.08.08. A year ago, I was doing something which I asssumed as 'special' but guess that's not gonna happen again. Many Chinese people think that the number 13 is an unlucky number. Guess it's also my unlucky number? Hope nothing special will fall on the 13th of every month anymore because I'm beginning to hate the number 13.

Wee showed me the parcel that he's gonna send me for my birthday. *happy* I'm gonna be 21 soon. Talking about 21, I suddenly remembered something. There was once I went out shopping with my mom in KL. We were in a jewellery shop and I told her that the necklace with a key pendant was so nice. She then told me that I'm not old enough for that yet. I was like "What? Why? Since when wearing a necklace needs a particular age?" She then explained to me about the key. The key will be given to us when we turn 21. Key to our freedom. That's what shows we are turning to a real adult and a mature person, i suppose.

Suddenly, I miss Billy a lot. It has been quite some time since the last time we spent hours chatting in msn. Gosh~ Miss the old days when we tell each other secrets, share our joy and sadness together, give each other encouragement and advices, etc. I must force him to spend more time in msn when he gets back to Malaysia for holiday.

Tomorrow is gonna be a tiring day for me again. 8am - 5pm. Gonna be so damn exhausted. tata~

This is my first weekend after uni started. What did I do for the weekend without anymore drama? On Saturday, I washed my jeans. It was a sunny day. Good for laundry. I think I just wasted my Saturday by surfing the net, deleting photos in my laptop, listening to songs, downloading songs, and defragmenting my laptop. Oh, I went for a short jog too. Just wanna increase my heart rate since it's been a while since the last time i jogged. At night, I watched Bridget Jones since I never watched it before. Boring~

What about Sunday? I went out with Yi Tyeng to the city. We went to Edo Shiki for lunch. We wished that we could try everything in the shop but our tummies have limited capacity. Too bad. Here's some photos taken during our lunch.
