"ICE-RAIN" VS SNOW

Saw a rainbow right after the "ice-rain". It was just 5-10m away from me. Hehe. I was quite excited to see the "ice-rain". First time. Kinda "sakai". =P Can't imagine myself being attacked by those tiny ice. Must be really painful...

Did a stupid thing yesterday. I threw away a cabbage which I had intended to have for dinner. Something was wrong with my mind. I wanted to throw away the rubbish in my right hand but I threw the cabbage which was in my left hand into the bin. STuPiD~!!!

One more weird thing that happened yesterday was.... tears rolled down my cheek when I was cutting the CHICKEN!!! What on earth was happening to me?? As if I was cutting onions. WEIRDO~

Time to update my blog.. Hehe... I'll just write whatever that comes into my mind now. A random blog.

Let's talk about my first week of second semester in Curtin. As usual, there's nothing much to do in the first week. Just need to attend all lectures, some tutorials and one practical. However, it's gonna be very different next week. My timetable is kinda hectic this semester. Must work harder this semester. One request. Can I complain about my tutorial class????? I don't want that tutor. I don't like her. I'm kinda scared of her. I don't like the way she's gonna mark our presentation. No powerpoint!!! What the heck???? Have to use OHP. Sigh~ So kolot!!!! I want my previous tutor who is super nice and friendly can or not??? She gives high marks and useful comments for presentation too. Haih~ In that tutorial, I expect to be in the same group as my friends. They are Yijia, Siaw Tze, Hsiu Li, Christy, Yi Tyeng, Cheah Yen, Jac, Christabel, Wai Teng, Jeng, David, Robyn, Jasmine and Shereen. So many friends of mine but none of them are in my group for the presentation. I was being over-confident before the "lucky draw" and felt kinda disappointed after the "lucky draw". Thanks to my unlucky hand. =P However, it's a good way to get to know more friends. Right??? *Trying to be very optimistic here*


Met Richard Kho and the first thing that he asked me is............. "Why is your face so much rounder compared to last time????" So sad. I know. I accept the fact. Anyway, thanks to him, I got my stuff from Miri. Hehe. Nothing much actually. Just feel very happy everytime I got some stuff from my hometown.

I told my mom about my plan end of this year through sms. Gonna spend one week with my friends in KL before going back to Miri. My mom was driving so my sister replied my sms. Her reply was "WAH!SO enjoy o u. go kl gok. Will call u later when we go back.." So, my mom called me after she reached home. My parents both had the same reaction when they knew about my plan. "Still don't wanna come back to Miri for holidays?? Still wanna stay in KL to play???" Sounded like I'm a disobedient daughter. As if I don't miss home. NONO!!! I miss my home sweet home so much!!! But I just wanna spend some time with my friends from West Malaysia before spending approximately 2 months with my family in Sarawak. =) Reasonable right??

Think that's all that I wanna say. Kinda sien these few days. But wait till the time when I have heaps of things to be done. No more sien here and there. Gonna be "frust" here and there. =P

After Yijia got her freedom, we went to Carousel to watch Transformers. They said that it's a super nice movie but I'm not that kinda person who's interested in robots. Hehe. So, I think that the movie is not bad after all. Our next movie will be Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix.

I went to the city with Yijia and Yi Tyeng. Now I felt that Perth is so sien~ Nothing to do at all. We only went to Arirang and had our lunch there. Felt kinda stupid and aimless because we actually thought that Arirang is in Northbridge. We wasted quite a lot of time walking around to find the shop. After lunch, we walked around the city, trying to explore the things that we never see before. However, we still feel sien~ No mood to shop at all. Yijia bought a mirror and I bought hangers. Too many clothes needed to be hung. Hehe.

That night, I was so sien until I suggested them to go to Fremantle for some seafood. Hehe. It turned out to be a rainy day. Sigh~ It's OK. We (Yijia, Yi Tyeng, Hsiu Li, Yee Fang and I) still got to eat the super delicious seafood in Cicerello's. Yummy!!! Fresh and not-so-oily. Taste so much better than the one in Sydney's Fish Market. Blerk~ We couldn't finished the chips so we did something childish. Even the waiter laughed at us and said that he'll show our masterpiece to the chef. LOL!!! Dessert time!!! We had Gelati ice-cream!!!! Yummy!!!! Love ice-cream soooo much!!! We even sat down and talked about ghost stories while enjoying our ice-cream. You can feel how cold it is sitting outside of the shop, eating ice-cream and telling ghost stories at the same time. After our Fremantle trip, I began to like Perth more. =P

We then went to Subiaco on Sunday. Had our lunch at EDO (a Japanese restaurant). Quite yummy. Ate a lot of Japanese food since I came to Perth. After lunch, it's time to walk around the market. What can I say about Subiaco Market?? Super hectic!!! Sometimes I got stuck in the crowd and sometimes I got pushed by some stranger who never even thought of turning back to say SORRY!!! Pekchek ah!!! Yijia saw what happened to me from the back and she even laughed because the situation looked so funny from the back. I helped Michelle to buy kiwis and apples from the market and the others called me Auntie. Hey gals (Yijia, Yi Tyeng and Hsiu Li), I was just helping Michelle to buy what??? What wrong with helping a friend to buy fruits from a market??? I was being teased the whole afternoon. Auntie here and there. Don't worry. I'm not that "small gas".

Today is a day for me to rest. Did my laundry and stayed at home. Will be going out again tomorrow. Hehe.

100th Post~!!!

I’m a lazy girl. Hehe. This means that I’m not going to talk much about my trip to Melbourne and Sydney. I’ve uploaded some of the photos taken in both places in my friendster (http://www.friendster.com/lingweng). Will upload some photos in my blog too.

In Melbourne, we stayed in Jia Huei’s uncle’s house for 3 days and 2 nights. Her uncle brought us to few interesting places in Melbourne. We went to the Eureka Skydeck!! Great experience!!! Then, we met up with our Monash friends and I was arranged to stay with Jessica and Conney. As usual, we talked quite a lot at night before we sleep. Hehe. Really had a great time in Melbourne. Went to Great Ocean Road and saw a lot of rainbows along the way. We went to shop around Melbourne city and visited the beach, casino, Victoria Market and State Library. Dinner was always satisfying. Yu Wan’s cooking, Korean BBQ, Thai food (not so satisfying for me), etc. There is more night life in Melbourne but Melbourne is super cold. Now I think that Perth is kinda hot. Hehe. Thanks to Melbourne. =P

In Sydney, we stayed in Yee Hong’s house and Chia Ling’s house (for 1 night). What can I say about both houses?? Nice house. Big room, big mirrors, big cupboard, nice toilet, nice kitchen. Everything is so perfect. We went to Coogee Beach and Bondi Beach in a day. We also visited the Opera House, Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, Bondi Junction, Fish Market, Market City and Blue Mountain. Oh yeah. One more thing. We walked for quite a distance in order to get to Max Brenner. Some people said that we must try the chocolate and waffle there if we are in Sydney. That night was really tiring. So much ATP gone, just to walk to that Max Brenner. Another thing about Sydney is Krispy Kreme!!! Yummy Yummy doughnuts!!!! Irresistible!!! They produce the best doughtnuts ever!!! Dunkin Donuts in Malaysia is bot bad too. Haha. Better than Donut King in Perth. Blerk~

What is the most satisfying thing about this trip? I got the chance to meet my friends from INTEC!!! We spent time together every day and night. It was really awesome. Never thought that I could enjoy my life in such a way. Those 2 weeks were really fun. I had a great time with them. Thanks a lot to those people in Melbourne and Sydney for their effort to entertain us. Thanks for everything you guys did for us. Miss you guys lotsssssss!!!
